In almost 40 years working around the world in senior roles across several industries, I have become facinated by the geo-economic relationships that exist between nations, how they influence a country's opportunities, potential success or ultimate demise, and how the consumer behaves in this environment.
Combined with an understanding of economic theory, which at it's heart is the study of human behavior, you have the opportunity to develop a more robust understanding of economic events and how our world might change. Countries and politicians will rise and fall but economic laws are as powerful and constant as nature itself.
In these blogs I try to provide perspective and insights on current geo-economic events, and hopefully you find it interesting at the very least. I encourage respectful feedback (it's just my opinion), and feedback always improves the product. Enjoy!
